How it works

The full journey, step by step

Jovia connects eight stages of a job search into a single system. Here's exactly what happens at each one.

1. Build your profile

A guided, multi-step onboarding collects your background, experience, education, skills, languages, and career preferences — target roles, countries, salary expectations, and work authorization. Progress saves automatically, so you can leave and pick up where you left off.

2. Create or upload your CV

Build a CV from scratch in the Jovia editor using ATS-friendly templates, or upload an existing PDF or DOCX file. Uploaded CVs are parsed into structured data, which you review and confirm before anything is saved.

3. Get a detailed CV analysis

Jovia evaluates ATS readiness, experience clarity, skills coverage, and overall content quality, then explains each recommendation: what the issue is, why it matters, and how to fix it.

4. Review career recommendations

Based on your complete profile, Jovia suggests roles and career paths you're well suited for, each with a percentage match and a plain-language explanation of why it was recommended.

5. Search and filter real jobs

Search by country, city, role, salary, employment type, remote status, visa sponsorship, and more. Every result includes a transparent match score broken down by skills, experience, education, location, and language.

6. Prepare a job-specific application

For a role you want to pursue, Jovia can generate a customized CV version — reordering and emphasizing your real experience, never inventing it — along with a tailored cover letter and draft answers to common application questions.

7. Apply on the original page

In this version of Jovia, applying takes you directly to the employer's own application page. Jovia records the application as started, and you can mark it as applied once it's submitted.

8. Track and learn

Every application moves through a clear pipeline — from Applied to Interview to Offer or Rejected — with space for your own notes. Over time, Career Insights surface patterns from your own history.

Prefer working for yourself?

Or sell your services as a freelancer

The same profile and verification you build for job search also power a seller account on Jovia's freelance marketplace — for people who'd rather work project to project than apply for a single role.

List your services

Create packages with clear pricing and delivery times, and add real portfolio work so buyers know what to expect.

Get verified, get discovered

A quick identity check unlocks the verified badge, and your services appear in search and category pages for real buyers to find.

Deliver and get paid

Message buyers directly, deliver the work, and receive your payout securely once it's approved — commission drops as your plan grows.

Hiring for your team?

Or post jobs and hire through Jovia

Companies use the same real matching engine that powers job search — but pointed at your open roles, so you see the strongest applicants first instead of sorting through every resume yourself.

Post your role

Create a job listing with clear requirements, and it's immediately searchable by real candidates on Jovia.

Let Jovia rank applicants

Every applicant is scored against your role's real requirements, so the strongest matches rise to the top automatically.

Manage it all in one dashboard

Review, message, and move candidates through your pipeline — with a verified company badge and priority placement on higher plans.

What happens next

Beyond this initial flow, Jovia's architecture is built to support two future phases. In an Assisted Apply phase, Jovia will help pre-fill application fields on supported platforms for your review before you submit. In a later Supported Auto Apply phase, you'll be able to define rules — target roles, countries, minimum match score, salary floor — under which Jovia can process matching applications automatically, always within limits you control and only where a job source's terms and applicable law permit it. Neither feature is active today; anything not yet available is clearly marked rather than presented as working.

Your next role starts with a clearer profile

Build your career profile, get an honest read on your CV, and start seeing jobs that actually fit.
